Anyone ever actually buy one of those diy window tinting kits for your house? I think they sell them at Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

If so how much were they and how was your experience?

Do you mean the tinted film you apply to your windows? I bought it and applied it to some of the windows in the front of my home. The process was fairly easy but I did find the film difficult to work with. Still, it does help block UV rays and such and it's fairly inexpensive to DIY.

I've also done it and it was a small pain but cheap and helps out. I'm not sure if your house is brand new or not but if it is, if you tint your windows, you will void your warranty. I checked with Lennar before I did anything and found out that info so I purchased the removable stuff again. Just FYI.

Not the home warranty-just the window warranty. Sorry I didn't clarify.
